Rocky has been taking care of my BMW 330 ci sports coupe since 2002. In fact, I think he cares more about my car than I do. I am trashing the poor thing like there’s no tomorrow -- and yet the car runs as good as new 10 years later. (Thanks, Rocky! You're on my Christmas list.) Rocky is not a mere mechanic. He's like a good old family Doctor. He will understand and pamper your car better than you ever will. Sometimes he may even slap you, gently, (and sometimes even not so gently) for abusing your vehicle. In either case, you get your car back in sparkling shape, freshly washed, and running like a racehorse. (Sometimes after his tune-ups the car runs so damn well that I have a suspicion that they are tuning cars for after-hours street races in that shop... ) Bottom line: if you want to pinch pennies and take your Bavarian motor stallion to some Lube-R'Us -- where they will patch it up with duct tape -- it’s just around the corner... But if you want to be secure that your import is in the experienced hands of someone who knows how to treat it with full respect for precise German engineering -- making sure you car runs in tip-top shape for years to come -- Rocky is probably one of only a few car doctors in Newport Beach you should even let near your investment. Just stop by the shop. Talk to the man. You'll see -- he gets you, and your car is in capable hands.
